Obituary for Doyle Sims

Doyle Sims
Doyle Sims, age 79, of Canton, GA passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at his residence. He was a member of Sutallee Baptist Church. He and his wife were owners of Roswell Florist for over 25 years. Upon returning to his hometown of Canton, he and his wife owned and operated Sim's Florist which is still in operation today. He was a member of Canton Moose Family Center for over 20 years. He held many various local and state offices, as well as serving over 20 years as an administrator. Mr. Sims also held the Pilgrim's Degree which is the highest degree within the Moose Order.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Saturday, December 31, 2016, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Edmondson, Rev. Mike Ware, and Rev.Bobby Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Thursday, December 29, 2016, and from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Friday, December 30, 2016, at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Father & Mother- George & Inez Ragsdale Sims

He is survived by:
Wife of 58 years - Linda Faye Fowler Sims
Son - Mike Sims
Daughter & Son-in-law - Darlene & Mike Blankenship
Grandchildren - Michael Hill, Joshua Hill, Sparkle Hill
Great Grand Children - Dylan, Tyler & Addyson Hill
Extended Family - Connie Clark & Charlene Morgan
Survived by Several Cousins
