Once we have received your loved one into our care, we will schedule a time for you to meet with us to make final arrangements. Listed below are things that will be needed when making final arrangements.
At Home
Give the Coroner or Medical Examiner authorization to release your loved one to South Canton Funeral Home & Chapel at 770-479-3377.
Our Staff will come to the location of the loved one who has passed and receive them into our care.
When we arrive, we will schedule a time for you to make final arrangements.
At Home With Hospice
Contact the Hospice Nurse and South Canton Funeral Home to notify us that your loved one has passed. A Hospice Nurse will come to your home and make the pronouncement of death. Once the pronouncement is made, call South Canton Funeral Home & Chapel at 770-479-3377.
Our Staff will come to the location of the loved one who has passed and receive them into our care.
When we arrive, we will schedule a time for you to make final arrangements.
Hospital/Nursing Home/Assisted Living
Contact the Nurse or appropriate personnel. That person will come into the room and make the pronouncement of death. Once the pronouncement has been made, authorize them to release your loved one into the care of South Canton Funeral Home & Chapel at 770-479-3377.
Our Staff will come to the location of the loved one who has passed and receive them into our care.
When we arrive, we will schedule a time for you to make final arrangements.
